Remarkable Milwaukee

EVENT: Historic Milwaukee Inc. hosted its Remarkable Milwaukee event at the Milwaukee County War Memorial.
CAUSE: Proceeds benefited Historic Milwaukee Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to increasing awareness of and commitment to Milwaukee’s history, architecture and preservation of the city’s built environment through education.
PROCEEDS: Ticket sales, sponsorships, raffles and a silent auction raised approximately $38,600.

Milwaukees Finest Scholarship Foundation

EVENT: Milwaukee’s Finest Scholarship Foundation hosted its second annual charity event at Marquette University’s Haggerty Museum of Art.
CAUSE: All proceeds raised benefited scholarships for Milwaukee County high school seniors.
PROCEEDS: A call-to-action and silent auction garnered $20,000.

Rise and Honor Veterans Luncheon

EVENT: Revitalize Milwaukee hosted its second annual Rise and Honor Veterans luncheon and fundraiser at Potowatomi Hotel and Casino. The event honored veterans and welcomed home Vietnam veterans, presenting them with a special pin and prayer.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event provided critical home repairs to vulnerable veterans in the community.
PROCEEDS: Donations and raffles garnered $25,000.

Support Our Seniors

EVENT: The Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County held its Support Our Seniors: Celebrating 24 years of Service in Ozaukee County event at the River Club of Mequon.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event benefited the Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County, allowing the organization to continue to support seniors in need.
PROCEEDS: The event raised more than $20,000 through sponsorships, donations and raffles.

USO Operation Christmas Party

EVENT: USO Wisconsin held its annual Operation Christmas Party at the Milwaukee County War Memorial.
CAUSE: The event collected donations to assist currently serving military families during the holidays.
PROCEEDS: Through a donation drive, the City of Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Brewers Community Foundation donated more than $10,000 in gifts.

Volume Control

EVENT: Imagination Theater hosted its Volume Control event at Next Act Theatre’s performance space. The event recognized International Women’s Voices Day and featured staged readings of 10 plays by female playwrights from Little Black Dress Ink’s seventh annual Female Playwright Onstage Festival.
CAUSE: Admission to the event was free, but the proceeds collected at the door were donated to the Milwaukee Women’s Center.

Laugh it up Milwaukee 2018

EVENT: The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center and Safe & Sound Inc. hosted Laugh It Up Milwaukee, featuring Wayne Brady, at the Riverside Theater.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised through tickets sales and both individual and corporate sponsorships supported Safe & Sound Inc., a nonprofit whose goal is to build safe and empowered neighborhoods, and the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center.
