Beats and Brushwork

EVENT: The Greater Cedarburg Foundation’s gala at the Ozaukee Pavilion at the Ozaukee County Fairgrounds featured a “Beats & Brushwork” performance by artist Shelby Keefe and music by the Vic Di Cristo Quartet.
CAUSE: Proceeds benefited The Greater Cedarburg Foundation, whose purpose is to support projects and programs that enhance the quality of life in the greater Cedarburg community.
PROCEEDS: $70,000 was raised through ticket sales as well as live and silent auctions.

Feeding the Hungry

EVENT: The GROWTH and Change Tikkun Ha-Ir Fundraiser took place at the Jewish Home and Care Center in Milwaukee.
CAUSE: Proceeds support the nonprofit’s goal to alleviate poverty through programs benefiting food pantries, shelters and more.
PROCEEDS: $30,000 was raised through ticket sales, a raffle and a silent auction.

Coming to the Table

EVENT: ACTS Housing invited business and community leaders to share dinner at a 240-foot-long table at Milwaukee’s Longest Neighborhood Table Event at UW-Milwaukee.
CAUSE: ACTS Housing helps community members renting in Milwaukee’s most challenged neighborhoods become homeowners. All proceeds enabled the nonprofit to provide financial coaching, homebuyer and home rehab counseling, real estate brokerage and loans for home repair to low-income families.
PROCEEDS: More than $110,000 was raised, enough to support 37 families transition from renters to homeowners.
